Junction Boxes – Standard and Custom Built

It is absolutely essential to any utility services plan that junction and inspection points are planned and appropriately catered for. Access must be possible for maintenance checks, upgrade and repair operations and so on.

But not every project is the same and not every location will be suitably serviced with one of our standard Junction Boxes. That’s why we’re always happy to cater for custom requirements.

Junction Boxes – Bespoke Units at Killeshal:

There are situations that call for something out of the ordinary. The unit pictured below is a great case in point. We were contacted by on of our customers who required a junction box that was considerably larger than our standard units.

We needed to create a junction box that would allow the installation of mechanical and electrical units and provide sufficient space for a service engineer to enter the junction box and have all-round access to the installed unit.

Not only that, we also had to design the junction box unit and cover assembly to withstand an 80Kn wheel load.

We achieved this with a custom designed rebar cage and mould and created a substantial unit that happily satisfied our customers.
