Killeshal’s precast concrete Columbarium units perfectly support the increasing demand for the interment of ashes over a traditional burial. These double-chamber units make it easy for Local Authorities and private providers to create columbaria walls.
There is an increasing trend toward the selection of cremation over a traditional burial, and an increasing trend in turn to inter the ashes to a columbaria facility rather than retaining them in the home of loved ones. There is a significant advantage to the use of columbaria over home retention in that they give family and friends alike a place to visit and remember, just as a traditional grave would have done.
Made in durable precast concrete, Killeshal's columbarium units have two Urn chambers each, with ample urn space, and are designed with a subtle slope on the urn chamber floor to prevent pooling of moisture. M10 sockets with 15mm thread are cast into the units to receive the cover plates. Please note - Killeshal does not provide cover plates with the units.
Killeshal's Columbarium Units can be mounted vertically to create a columbaria wall (see render image below) or they can be ground-set (see images below.) Some facilities provide both options.
Installation of these precast concrete Columbarium Units is quicker and easier than creating a columbaria wall through other methods, and by varying the vertical and horizontal count this allows for the quick creation of columbaria wall specific to the available space on site.
