We are very conscious in Killeshal of the need to make every effort to decarbonise when the opportunity arises. We have been on a journey in this regard for some time now, and the latest step is the addition of dedicated on-site EV charging points.

As the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe, bake in yet another heatwave (or heat dome?), I think we can forget about using the term debate in relation to Climate Change.

Now we need to adapt to new temperature norms and new extremes, and wherever we can, we need to take measures to reduce our impact on climate and the environment and reduce our carbon footprint.

In recent weeks we have replaced some of our diesel-engine company cars with EV models, and to complete the picture for this switch we have installed some dedicated on-site EV charging points.

This is very definitely not an endpoint for Killeshal decarbonising efforts. As I noted above, we are on a journey in this regard and there is more to come. That is not an aspiration - Killeshal is actively engaged in more projects like this. Stay tuned!
